It is a great pleasure and honor to invite you to the IEEE Conference on Telepresence, the flagship conference of the IEEE Future Directions Initiative on Telepresence. TELEPRESENCE 2024 will be a hybrid event, on 16-17 November 2024, with the in-person component located at Caltech in Pasadena, California. The conference will provide a stimulating forum for researchers, educators, and practitioners to learn, share knowledge, report the most recent innovations and developments, and exchange ideas and advances in all aspects of telepresence systems and applications, telerobotics, human-machine interfaces, learning from humans, autonomy. In addition to technical sessions, TELEPRESENCE 2024 will hold keynote addresses, panel discussions, exhibits, and receptions to enrich the fruitful discussions among conference attendees. We will do our best to make this event an intellectually stimulating and enjoyable experience.

TELEPRESENCE 2024 will be hybrid. We encourage in-person participation in Pasadena, but we also welcome online participation in the virtual tracks. We will provide real-time transmission and recordings.

We will have regular papers, short late-breaking papers, and abstracts (for authors who do not yet have publishable results but want to present work in progress, applications, and new projects that have recently received funding and to facilitate early feedback and foster collaborations), which will be published in the on-line conference proceedings available to registrants. We strongly encourage contributions from industry, illustrating technical solutions and demonstrations, either as technical papers or as abstracts.

3 June 2024: Deadline for Full Paper Submission

18 July 2024: Notification of paper acceptance

11 August 2024: Deadline for late breaking submissions (short papers and abstracts)*
Short papers(up to four pages) are published in IEEE Xplore, Two-page abstracts are published on the website only, do not go in IEEE Xplore

28 August 2024: Notification of Short papers and Abstracts Acceptance

30 September 2024: Deadline for camera-ready final version of the papers (registration required). Deadline for early registration

13 November 2024: Deadline for Late Registration
